Montreal Jazz Ballet

Le Carré - 5^th March

Imagine classic ballet mixed with modern jazz, contemporary dance, pop music, circus, theatre and visual arts. Sounds like a lot for one stage? Well, not according to the 14 dancers of the Montreal Jazz Ballet. This world-renowned, hybrid company aims to combine many diverse styles to deliver an exceptional show that highlights the beauty and grace of the human body. Sensual and powerful, it succeeds in presenting a versatile yet harmonious performance.

On the 5^th of March, Le Carré will be welcoming these passionate artists for three incredible shows that are set to seduce every attendee. Expect breath-taking splits in classical yet dynamic choreography named Mono Lisa, enjoy Kosmos' celebration of the human body's creative strength through an urban scenery, and feel moved by Harry's story of hope and humour to the soundtrack of jazz music.

Nouveau Cirque

Le Carré - 14^th - 16^th March

If exciting entertainment and exotic performances are your cup of tea, head back to Le Carré for the Nouveau Cirque later on this month. Sainte-Maxime's leading destination for on-stage shows will be welcoming the amazing Cirque Plume company for an incredible weekend during which magic is guaranteed to happen.

Think trapeze artists flying in the air after doing a few steps of flamenco, a piano slowly being lifted down from the top of the chapiteau, a friendly clown playing shadow theatre whilst juggling with red suns... The Cirque Plume will be offering an surreal dance where poetry and joy are king. Sometimes muddled, sometimes precise, the show will aim to represent life and its many faces.

 During four nights of awe-inspiring acrobatics, Cirque Plume will celebrate 30 years of creative freedom that have defined the Nouveau Cirque genre. Do not miss this wonderful spectacle located minutes away from Amarante Golf Plaza...

Wine-Growers and Gastronomy Event

Chapiteau du Théâtre de la Mer - 26^th - 28^th March

If you travelled all the way down to the South of France to discover amazing wines and food, you came at the right time. From March 26^th to 28^th, a total of forty local wine-growers and producers will be gathering to present their latest products. Taste the unctuously gooey cheeses, enjoy the fruity Côte de Provence and explore the true Sainte-Maxime through its local businesses – and food specialties.

This event, hosted under the Chapiteau du Théâtre de la Mer, will be displayed according to each type of product. If you want to enjoy the most of it, follow our tips. Go for the sausage stall first, grab a slice (or three), then head to a wine corner and stop for a chat with wine-growers about what makes their vineyards so unique . When you feel like eating again, the cheese stand will be ready to welcome you, you will just have to follow the smell – no kidding. Finally, step by the liquor seller to end the day and begin your evening…

One thing is certain: you won't leave empty handed, nor on an empty stomach!
