“Après un rêve” at Chappelle de la Nartelle

21st of July

Not far from the Bay of Sainte-Maxime, La Nartelle’s chapel hides behind huge pines and olive trees. With its red roof tiles and stain-glassed windows, the small building boasts a typical, Provençal architecture that blends perfectly with nature. Once a week, its cool interiors bathed in soft daylight offer live music sessions. From Sebastian Bach’s score, to compositions that are less famous, yet equally delightful to the ears, the intimate venue presents a must-attend, classical line-up.

The cooling chapel is set to showcase an enchanting duet on the 21st… while also providing shade away from the Mediterranean heat. Over the course of a couple of hours, Marielle Nordmann’s harp will meet Nemanja Radulovic’s violin during an outstanding performance. This brilliant show is entitled Après un rêve (After a Dream) and will induce a day-dream-like state in attendees while they’re immersed in the musicians’ perfect interpretation. You may feel like you’re almost suspended in the air…

After a lovely evening in Sainte-Maxime’s inland, head to the Old Town for a drink on one of the terraces for a true taste of the French douceur de vivre…
