Food is on the Way…

To highlight the Latin country’s exquisite food, the Côte d’Azure town is hosting Fest’Italia, a food event gathering the best produce from the other side of the border. Mozzarella di Bufala, Prosciutto, Pasta alla carbonara… every fresh Italian ingredient you’ve ever dreamt of sampling will be presented in the streets of Sainte-Maxime this summer. From 4^th to 8^th May, enjoy a walk under the sun on Promenade Simon-Lorière, smelling the sweet fragrence of fresh ingredients. Sainte-Maxime boasts one of the most awe-inspiring venues for concerts and shows in the area. Overlooking the sea, the beach and framed by huge palm trees, Le Théâtre de la Mer has welcomed some of the biggest names in the French music industry, as well as new talents – think Jamaican singer Jimmy Cliff. Each year, in May, the blue chairs and silver stage are set to welcome a new musical season and hundreds of tourists and locals.

This summer, the open-air venue is welcoming Kendji Girac’s gypsy guitar on 26^th July, Frero Delavega’s charming duet on 18^th July and Celtic Legends folkloric dances on 7^th August. You’ll feel the refreshing breeze coming from the sea on your face, whilst tapping alongto the rhythm of the music. This sea-side venue isn’t to be missed and with the guaranteed warm climate, there are few more pleasant ways to spend an evening.

If you’re more into private, small events, Le Café de France is holding a Jazz@Table session every night until October. Expect blues notes served with Mediterranean cuisine such as crab tartare, sea bass and Salade Niçoise.
