This summer, Sainte-Maxime focuses on food festivals and music gigs. The best local produce arrive from the sea and the countryside for guests to discover a multitude of delicious flavours. Indulge in Southern France’s spécialités dishes before exploring its music scene in an arena facing the waterfront and its beautiful beach…

Follow this guide for an outstanding experience in one of the most beautiful cities of the Mediterranean French coast. You’re guaranteed to spend a luxury stay in the southern area…

Food is on the Way…

Located less than 150 kilometres from the Italian border, it makes sense that both French and Italian culture are blended together in Sainte-Maxime’s lifestyle. To highlight the Latin country’s exquisite food, the Côte d’Azure town is hosting Fest’Italia, a food event gathering the best produce from the other side of the border. Mozzarella di Bufala, Prosciutto, Pasta alla carbonara… every fresh Italian ingredient you’ve ever dreamt of sampling will be presented in the streets of Sainte-Maxime this summer. From 4th to 8th May, enjoy a walk under the sun on Promenade Simon-Lorière, smelling the sweet fragrence of fresh ingredients. You’ll also learn more about the making and cooking process with the Italian producers offering tips and further information on the food of their homeland.

If it’s a lounge bar, fancy menu and jazz music you’re into, you’ve come to the right place. In some of the trendiest bars of the city, the music society AmbiancezVous organises piano concerts whilst serving delicious food and wines. Head to L’Amiral for a pretty terrace by the beach, and to Aux Loges to experiment Sainte-Maxime’s central night life. Sit in the luxurious, leather armchairs of the venues to spend a lovely evening relaxing, the Côte d’Azur way…

Sweet melodies to your ears…

Sainte-Maxime boasts one of the most awe-inspiring venues for concerts and shows in the area. Overlooking the sea, the beach and framed by huge palm trees, Le Théâtre de la Mer has welcomed some of the biggest names in the French music industry, as well as new talents – think Jamaican singer Jimmy Cliff. Each year, in May, the blue chairs and silver stage are set to welcome a new musical season and hundreds of tourists and locals.

This summer, the open-air venue is welcoming Kendji Girac’s gypsy guitar on 26th July, Frero Delavega’s charming duet on 18th July and Celtic Legends folkloric dances on 7th August. You’ll feel the refreshing breeze coming from the sea on your face, whilst tapping alongto the rhythm of the music. This sea-side venue isn’t to be missed and with the guaranteed warm climate, there are few more pleasant ways to spend an evening.

If you’re more into private, small events, Le Café de France is holding a Jazz@Table session every night until October. Expect blues notes served with Mediterranean cuisine such as crab tartare, sea bass and Salade Niçoise. You’ll sit on a veranda with stunning views on the bay, sheltered from the sun by huge lime trees, enjoying the beautiful sound of the musicians in front you and the delightful meals on your plate…

From music gigs to food events, believe us, your next stay in Amarante Golf Plaza will make you (re)discover the Mediterranean coast with some dolce vita vibes you will undoubtedly fall for…
